Another family favorite dish and super easy to make
1/3 Cup Butter
¾ Cup Onion
7 Tbs. Flour
2 Cups Milk
1 ½ Cups Chicken Broth
1 Cup Diced Carrots
1 Cup Frozen Peas
3 Cups Diced Chicken
1 Pkg. Puff Pastry (We use PC brand)
Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat; add onion and stir until golden. Stir in flour until smooth; blend in milk and chicken broth gradually.
Bring mixture to a boil, stirring constantly. Boil for 1 minute. Stir in Frozen peas, carrots and chicken. Season with poultry seasoning, salt and pepper to taste.
Spoon mixture into a 9 x 12 dish.
Roll out puff pastry to about ¼” thick and cover mixture. Cut several holes into the top of the pastry and brush with milk or cream. Bake at 425 degrees in oven for 20-30 minutes or until crust is golden brown.
